Build and run reusable checklists in your browser sidebar
CheckRun is a free Chrome extension that lets you build reusable checklist templates and run them on any webpage in your browser sidebar.
Capture page URL and title automatically, mark items Pass, Fail, or N/A, add comments, and resume runs anytime.
Every run saves locally with dates and statuses, never leaving your browser. Search and filter history, export to CSV, or send results to Google Sheets.
Share templates via link or JSON so teammates can import with one click.
🚫 The problem CheckRun solves
Checklist tools live outside the browser.
Every audit means switching tabs, copy-pasting results, and losing the connection between what you checked and where you checked it.
CheckRun runs inside the browser sidebar — the checklist stays open next to the page you're auditing, results are tied to specific URLs, and nothing gets lost.
✅ How CheckRun works
You build a checklist template once — sections and items structured for your workflow.
When you're ready to audit a page, open CheckRun in the Chrome side panel. The URL and page title are captured automatically.
Mark each item Pass, Fail, or N/A, leave comments where needed, and save the run when done. Every run is stored in history tied to that specific URL and date.
Per-template statistics track pass rate over time and surface which items fail most often.
Key Features
- Reusable templates with sections, drag-and-drop reorder, collapsible items
- Pass / Fail / N/A per item with free-text comments
- Run history tied to specific URLs with per-template statistics

Founder's Story
"Built to solve a recurring problem: running structured audits across multiple web pages with no good way to track results."
"Checklists lived in Google Docs or Notion — always in a separate tab, always disconnected from the page being audited."
"After switching tabs one too many times across a 10-page SEO audit, the decision was to build a tool that lives inside the browser itself."
"CheckRun started as a personal workflow fix and became a published Chrome extension."
